Turgay Tuncer Tuncer itibaren Crăciunelu de Jos, Romanya
this is a very serious and literary piece of work. at times i was even a little shocked by where the subject matter went. it was quite deep and sometimes a bit too highbrow for me... but i was still glad to read a graphic novel as thoughtful and developed as this. Rorschach is a great character. Some layouts and juxtapositions are very intelligently done! stylistically it's a somewhat typical of the comic style of it's time -- which I'm not a big fan of. It achieved an interesting look by strongly emphasising secondary colours -- but not a look that i particularly liked. some chapters were more captivating than others and the whole thing took ages to read, but it was well worth it. i did like the ending very much. i'm quite interested to see how next year's film adaptation will turn out -- even though creator Alan Moore has never been happy with any adaptations of his other works.
