Bu kitap ikinci kişide anlatılmıştır. Bazı unutulmaz alıntılar ve sahneler var, ancak arsanın ana noktalarını hatırlamıyorum.
Yet another awesome book from Cousteau. Great pictures, great adventures, and I love Cousteau's voice in the book--he is the genius, and doesn't he know it, though! Amazing!
A thriller centred on the issues surrounding animal experimentation and ethics in medical research, with a paranormal element. I enjoyed it more than I expected to.
Remarkably not dated considered it's given credit as the first novel. The various knight errantry episodes can be a bit repetitive and overlong (Cervantes strays far away from the primary narrative for long stretches of time), but by the end one can see how Cervantes was doing something very specific in intricately mapping DQ's slow trudge towards sanity. It's interesting how DQ goes crazy on page 2, but it takes him a thousand plus pages to find some real lucidity.
Considering this book was written a year before the subprime collapse, the author pretty much nailed it...
